2018 Grants Available from the Southern Monterey County Foundation

The Southern Monterey County Foundation, an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County, has $15,000 available to grant in 2018 to nonprofit organizations, public programs and other groups serving Southern Monterey County Residents.

Grants are expected to range from $500 to $2,000 and focus on projects and programs that benefit the communities of Southern Monterey County, which covers King City and all points south, excluding the coastal region.

Deadline September 28, 2018

Grant proposals are due 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 and decisions will be announced in late November. Applications can be found online at www.cfmco.org/SMCF.

About the Southern Monterey County Foundation

The Southern Monterey County was established by area residents to support programs and services for the communities of Southern Monterey County. Formed in 2014 as an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County, the Southern Monterey County Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds locally to strengthen communities from King City to points south. It is guided by an advisory board of local residents who have a deep understanding of regional community needs.
