Grants Available from the Southern Monterey County Foundation
The Southern Monterey County Foundation, an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County, has $14,000 available to grant in 2020 to nonprofit organizations, public programs and other groups serving Southern Monterey County Residents. Grants will range from $500 to $2,000 and focus on projects and programs that benefit the communities of Southern Monterey County, which covers King City and all points south, excluding the coastal region.
Grant proposals are due 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 and decisions will be announced in late November. Applications can be found online at www.cfmco.org/SMCF.
2020 priorities include projects or programs addressing COVID-19-related needs. Preference is given to locally-based organizations that have less access to other sources of support, where a small grant can make a meaningful difference.
