About the Fund
The Men’s Golf Association (MGA) at Quail Lodge Community Impact Fund enables the Scholarship Committee to continue the solid tradition of providing targeted, cost-effective financial assistance to local students to continue their education in college or a CTE vocational program. The Committee has also been able to fund grants to the Rancho Cielo Youth Campus because of the continued generous support.

Background & Impact
The Fund originated in 2006, when a long-time member wanted to leave a modest educational legacy. This led to awarding the first scholarship of $1,000 to a student from Pacific Grove High School in 2009. He pledged $1,000 per year for five years and encouraged other members to raise additional scholarship funds.
Since that initial award, 62 students have received a total of 99 scholarships totaling over $350,000. In 2023, the MGA awarded 23 scholarships, including 13 new awards and nine renewal scholarships. The Rancho Cielo Youth Campus received a grant of $15,000 for a total donation of $108,000 to date.
