The Limitless Scholarship Fund
About the Fund
The Limitless Mentorship Program and Scholarship Fund was created to support the goals of young women and girls in Monterey County who dream of pursuing a career in a male-dominated industry but have limited access to resources due to a lack of financial support and career guidance. We provide scholarships, mentorship workshops, career guidance and self-care products to young women and girls from low-income households.
The Limitless Mentorship and Scholarship Program was created because we believe there should be no barriers that limit people from achieving the greatness they are destined for.”
– Genevieve Armendariz, Limitless Scholarship Founder
Genevieve worked with the Community Foundation to create the fund. She was inspired to start the fund by her grandmother, Jaycee Echeverria, who was a mechanic for the City of Salinas.
She celebrated the opening of the new fund on November 5th with CFMC staff. From l to r: Senior Vice President of Philanthropic Services Christine Dawson, fund creator Genevieve Armendariz, Scholarships and Community Impact Officer Esther Figueroa, and Director of Gift Planning Cecilia Romero.
