Nonprofit Resources & Toolkits

Nonprofit Resources & Toolkits

timeThe arrival of spring brings more daylight hours, but not more hours in the day. Time spent frantically searching for a template to revise your bylaws or a sample calendar to guide your communications plan can mean time not spent delivering programs or meeting your mission.

The good news is that templates, guides and other helpful resources are just a few clicks away. The Center for Nonprofit Excellence website links to several online Nonprofit Management Resources and Learning Libraries . These are a launch point for materials, tutorials and other learning tools and can be your go-to place to find what you need.

Board Transformation Toolkit

For board members, the “Board Transformation Toolkit” provides 13 topics to help you build a strong, effective board. Toolkits contain such resource items as a template to build a board manual, a guide to create a board recruitment packet, and tools for evaluating the executive.

Nonprofit Resources

Other quick go-to resources we like include:

PackardFoundation The Packard Foundation’s Organizational Effectiveness Wiki where you will find an Evergreen Editorial Calendar.

TechSoupTechSoup curates a list of technology trainings for nonprofits.
