The 2014 Monterey County Gives! campaign was the most successful ever thanks to the 1,500 generous donors who supported the campaign. More than $1.33 million was raised to benefit 101 local nonprofits.

The CFMC provided additional grants of $1,000 each to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue for the most donors and Monterey Bay Charter School for the most donors under 35. An additional $2,500 was awarded to the Friends of the Salinas Public Library for the Ingenuity Award for their “Big Idea.”
