You gave big through Monterey County Gives! 1,712 donors contributed a total of $1.33 million to benefit more than 100 local nonprofits. 2014 was another record year for the annual campaign of the Monterey County Weekly.
Kinship Center received the most gifts overall. The CFMC provided additional grants of $1,000 each to Peace of Mind Dog Rescue for attracting the most donors, Monterey Bay Charter School for the most donors under 35, and Friends of the Salinas Public Library for the Ingenuity Award.
