This workshop is offered by the Arts Council for Monterey County. Visit their website to register.
This workshop is designed to help arts organizations and other nonprofits to extend their reach and deepen their impact.
Advance registration is required to reserve a space. Cost is $25.00 and includes continental breakfast, beverages, snacks and workshop materials. Scholarships are available upon request to Klara Hickmanova – klara@arts4mc.org.
The workshop opens with a dynamic, interactive session with renowned authors Ann Todd Jealous and Caroline Haskell. Then, Los Angeles Arts Commission Acting Chief Deputy Leticia Rhi Buckley will lead participants through the design of their own action plan based on her own recent experience leading the process.
“We developed this workshop at the request of everyone who attended our 2017 Arts Education Summit. We all want to be welcoming and inclusive. This workshop will show us how – through deeper understanding of the issues and the practical guidance we need to create an effective path forward. We are thrilled to have such expert and exciting presenters to help us all through this process,” notes Executive Director Paulette Lynch.
