This four-part series is geared to board members, either new or experienced. Join us to

• Cultivate an effective working board.
• Explore governance topics such as board roles and responsibilities, moving from ideas to action, fund development and more alongside fellow community volunteers.
• Grow stronger in your role.

Facilitated by ileana Ortega Brunetti. ileana has extensive experience working in the nonprofit sector and previously facilitated CNE’s Tune in to Your Leadership Voice series. She is a past LEAD participant and Central Coast native. Ileana’s board service has included Ecology Action, Bay Federal Credit Union and Watsonville Wetlands Watch.

Betsey Pearson, past Community Foundation for Monterey County board member, nonprofit consultant and former VP of United Way Monterey County also contributes to this series.
