Regional Advocacy Meetings are designed to engage family members, program leaders, mental-health professionals and the general public in local planning and problem solving with key local officials and affiliates. The meetings provide advanced opportunities for individuals to participate in processes that impact programs and service delivery.

In focusing on local advocacy issues, we want to devote time to understanding Stepping Up: A National Initiative to Reduce the Number of People Living with Mental Illnesses in Jails. We hope to have a discussion to see how we can move the program forward in Monterey County and support individuals with access to care.  Lunch and snacks provided!
