Fund Development Planning Workshop

$30 per organization (1-3 people), some scholarships available.
How does your nonprofit’s fund development strategy translate into an annual fund development plan? This workshop offers you time at the beginning of the year to
- develop or refine the key elements of your case statement
- identify effective fund development strategies based on your present resources, mission, and future direction
- consider how dynamics of power and privilege, race and class play into fund development strategies.
The follow scholarship types are available:
- ACTION Council scholarships are offered to organizations supporting children & families who are at-risk, marginalized, or low-income
- First 5 Funded Partners
- Irvine Salinas Grantees (Baktun12, Building Healthy Communities, Monterey Bay Central Coast Labor Council, Center for Community Advocacy, Ciclovia, COPA, The Epicenter, Girls Inc. of the Central Coast, MILPA, Mujeres en Accion.
About the facilitator:
Kate Mitchell-Mehle CFRE is Director of Development at Big Sur Land Trust, a Board Member-at-Large of Association of Fundraising Professionals Monterey Bay Chapter, and a graduate of LEAD Institute.
