Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training Program for Nonprofits
July 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
This program is full. You may add your organization to the Waiting List by going to the registration page. We will contact you if spaces open up.
Now is a critical time to consider what steps we can take to realize greater equity within our nonprofit structures, programs and practices. With support, leaders can help shift long-held habits and practices.
Regardless of where you are in this process, you and your team are invited to take part in a training program focused on diversity, equity and inclusion offered by the Center for Nonprofit Excellence of the Community Foundation for Monterey County. The training program is offered virtually and is facilitated by a team from NCBI Monterey County.
Attend the first session, Introduction to Equity, and learn more details about the full training program. Full program includes 3 sessions, learning community and coaching.
The goal of the full training program is to educate and support nonprofit organizations on three levels – the personal/interpersonal level, and the internal and external organizational levels. Teams will gain:
- Time and space to reflect together and gain shared language and analysis of your organization’s efforts
- Greater confidence in your team’s ability to establish and take action on an equity plan, and to identify and commit to what you can do right now.
