CNE Support for Nonprofits Accessing SBA COVID-19 Relief Funds

Monterey County based nonprofits and those serving Monterey County are invited to participate in a free clinic with El Pajaro CDC to get your questions answered. Staff will help your nonprofit prepare required documents to apply once more funding is appropriated through SBA.

What to do now:

  1. Get your 2019 bookkeeping and taxes completed–documents to have ready:
    o 2019 tax returns or 2019 Profit & Loss statemen to Payroll report, 940 form & 941 forms
    o W-2s of employees and W-3 form
  2. Business information: legal name, legal structure, # of employees & gross revenue
  3. Pre-apply to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) – many banks are taking pre-applications in preparation for/if additional PPP funding is approved. We encourage you to contact your banking institution to inquiry about their PPP pre-application as they are giving priority to existing clients. We, at El Pájaro CDC,can assist you with the pre-application. Documents and information from #1 and #2 will be necessary.
