Grants Available from The Weston Call Fund for Big Sur

The Weston Call Fund for Big Sur is accepting applications from nonprofits doing good work in Big Sur. The fund, founded in 2020, is a special purpose fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County.

The fund is governed by an advisory board of individuals committed to Big Sur, which has established the following priority areas, Health, Safety, Education, Arts, Culture and Community Stewardship. Nonprofits serving the Big Sur area are invited to apply. Application deadline is July 30, 2021.

In 2021, the fund has $37,500 available to grant. Grants are expected to range from $1,000 to $10,000 and focus on projects and programs that benefit the communities surrounding Big Sur, defined in this case as Mal Paso Creek to the Monterey County line.
