Deborah Logan
Vice President of Operations
Deborah Logan joined the foundation in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2009. She is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Foundation with a varied portfolio that includes administration, finance, human resources, training, real estate, facilities and technology.
Deborah has over 25 years of senior level experience in operations, finance and management.
Prior to coming to the Foundation in 2007, she was an independent financial consultant and before that served as Vice President of Finance/CFO at YMCAs in Northern California and Upstate New York. Career highlights include more than a decade of serving as a national trainer and consultant for conducting cost studies to YMCAs and serving as a group leader for international camper/volunteer exchange programs including countries such as Greece, Russia, Germany, Taiwan, Japan and Mexico.
Deborah has been recognized nationally for her career-long contributions to the YMCA movement by the IMC/YMCA and received the Leadership Award of Excellence in 2000. She was also recognized by the Association of YMCA Professionals in 1990 and again in 1997 with the Distinguished Service Award.
Deborah has supported nonprofits throughout her career as well as serving on various boards in an officer capacity. Some nonprofits include the International Management Council, the American Management Association, Big Brother and Big Sister, the Red Cross and the Lindsay Wildlife Museum.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from the University of New York at Buffalo. Deborah is also a California Licensed Real Estate Broker and a California Notary Public. She has two daughters ages 10 and 2.
