Jackie WendlandJackie Wendland, Director of Grants and Donor Advisor Services

Jackie joined the Community Foundation staff in 2002 and has primary responsibility for managing the Foundation’s annual grant programs and services for donor advisors.

 Prior to coming to the Foundation, she held several nonprofit senior fund development positions and worked as an attorney in the fields of real estate, land use and securities law. She also has held several leadership positions on nonprofit Boards including the East Bay Leave a Legacy Council, Hospice of Contra Costa County, and currently, Animal Friends Rescue Project.

Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Government, a Doctor of Jurisprudence, and was a fellow in American Studies at Brandeis University. She is also a member of the California State Bar Association and a graduate of Leadership Monterey Peninsula. In her leisure time, she enjoys running, extreme hiking, travel and volunteering at charity golf tournaments and other community events.
