Amanda HolderAmanda Holder, Communications Officer

As Communications Officer Amanda is responsible for increasing awareness of the Community Foundation and advancing the impact of its grants and initiatives through media relations, the website, printed publications and other marketing efforts.

Prior to joining the Foundation in 2009, she was founding Director of Marketing for the National Steinbeck Center museum in Salinas, California for ten years, Director of Marketing for Four Sisters Inns, and held a variety of marketing positions at ITT Sheraton Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts.

A Monterey County resident since 1986, she has served on the boards of the Volunteer Center for Monterey County and First Night Monterey. She graduated from Duke University with a degree in Comparative Literature, and earned an MBA from Boston College with a concentration in marketing. She is a Salinas resident.
