Jeri Gattis - Community Volunteer
Jeri Gattis was the co-recipient of the Foundation’s Distinguished Trustee Award in 1999 with her husband Jim (who also served on the Foundation’s Board.) Jeri has served on boards and committees for many major agencies in the Salinas area. She is a past president of the California International Airshow and is still active with that organization. She is currently a member of the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Governors. Recent projects include Berries and Branches, a home tour benefiting the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for SVMH. She was the founding co-chair of The Author’s Table, a collaborative fundraiser for the National Steinbeck Center and California State University, Monterey Bay.
When she isn’t spending time fund raising as a community volunteer, Jeri and a partner operate Arrangements, a home staging and design business. Jeri and Jim love entertaining at home and spending time with family and friends. Jeri and Jim have four children and nine lively grandchildren. They enjoy their home in Sunriver, Oregon where large groups gather to ski in the winter or kayak and bicycle in summer. Traveling is a special pleasure and passports are always ready to seek a new adventure.
