Board Presidents' Group (monthly) consists of local board presidents/ chairs who meet monthly for a peer-led confidential conversation and networking. Meetings are the 4th Friday at 12 Noon at the CFMC Office at 2354 Garden Rd., Monterey.  RSVP to susiep@cfmco.org.

Board Connection is a collaboration led by the Community Foundation for Monterey County, Leadership Monterey Peninsula and the Volunteer Center of the United Way of Monterey County. It connects individuals with board membership opportunities.

Fall 2012 Board Conference will provide opportunities to discuss key governance and recruitment topics and introduce short, self-guided training modules boards can use in their meetings. Date TBA.

Board Source offers a series of short videos describing the Ten Basic Responsibilities of Nonprofit Boards.  Access them anytime online and share them with your board. National Council of Nonprofits is a good source for Governance Policies.
