Neighborhood Grants Program (NGP)

The Neighborhood Grants Program is one of the most popular and successful programs at the Community Foundation. Small grants and workshops are provided to help neighborhood groups throughout Monterey County. Started in 1997 with a grant from the Packard Foundation, the Neighborhood Grants Program is now fully integrated into the ongoing operations of the Community Foundation. Since 2006, contracts with First 5 Monterey County have significantly increased funds available for grants and technical assistance to groups serving young families.

The 2010 NGP Application is now available in Microsoft Word and .pdf. For a free copy of Adobe Reader, please use the following link www.adobe.com/downloads/.

Interested community members are encouraged, but not required, to attend an information session about the Neighborhood Grants Program. For more information, please contact the Neighborhood Grants Program Officer, Aurelio Salazar at 831.754.5880.
