Grantmaking

Between 2006 and 2010, the Literacy Campaign, with support from Monterey Peninsula Foundation, First 5 Monterey County and others, approved over $2.1 million in grants to support adult literacy services in Monterey County. The Literacy Campaign was a five-year project. At this time, the Literacy Campaign is no longer accepting grant applications.

Literacy service providers are encouraged to attend monthly networking meetings. Click to join our  Google group.

Literacy Network members, providing adult literacy services in Monterey County, may apply for a professional development reimbursement (up to $600). More information is available on the Google group or from the Community Foundation.
