Grantmaking
The Literacy Campaign has one grant making cycle per year (between 2006 and 2010). Literacy Campaign grants are available to nonprofit organizations and public agencies that provide services to increase adult literacy.
Any nonprofit [501(c)(3)] or public agency, or collaboration of agencies may pre-appply for a Literacy Campaign grant. Completed pre-application forms must be emailed to grants@cfmco.org by 5:00 PM, May 3, 2010.
Literacy service providers are encouraged to attend monthly networking meetings. Click to join our Google group.
Literacy Network members, providing adult literacy services in Monterey County, may apply for a professional development reimbursement (up to $600). More information is available on the Google group or from the Community Foundation.
