Small GroupHow you will learn

LEAD participants learn new abilities and approaches through multiple methods over the course of a year, with one seminar or roundtable monthly.

Seven in-depth seminars
(one per month, September – March) Five of these seminars are full-day trainings on a Friday. The other two are two-day sessions on a Friday and Saturday. (See Calendar)

Five peer roundtables (one per month, April – August)
Participants deepen the learning of the first seven seminars and explore topics of particular interest at a half-day session.

Professional development plans
Individualized learning plans developed around each participant's specific situation and goals.

Organizational capacity building projects
In conjunction with each participant's organization and individual professional development plan, their project is an opportunity to apply LEAD learning to a specific situation within the participant's organization. Several participants may collaborate on similar projects. This practical integration of plan and action is one of the most powerful attributes of LEAD.

Coaching
All participants will learn and use peer coaching skills with each other. Each participant will also work with an experienced coach to advance their leadership goals and projects.
