Leadership Education and Development

Organizations and Employees Benefit

Nonprofit organizations continue to take on greater responsibilities in our community and the need for their services grows each year.  LEAD helps organizations meet these challenges in two key ways.

LEAD strengthens and deepens the management and leadership skills of an existing staff member.

LEAD participants bring practical, up-to-date, effective skills and knowledge back to their organization, ready to apply and share with others those practices that can be most effective. Their contact with other participants and trainers also expands their organization's network of resources and potential partners.

LEAD gives participants an understanding of the complexities of running an entire organization, not just a department or program.

Graduates will be ready to be an effective member of an organization's management/leadership team, relieving the executive director of the sole responsibility for all aspects of the organization. They may provide a direct link to communities not often represented at the executive level.
