Girls' Health in Girls' Hands (GHGH) in the News
The CFMC Women's Fund and our funding partners are investing $160,000 in 2012 to launch a multi-year GHGH collaborative with six partner agencies. The goal is to increase girls' access to health information and resources to help them become catalysts for positive changes in their schools and communities. The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Claire GIannini Fund, Peggy and Jack Baskin Foundation and Monterey Peninsula Foundation have partnered witih Women's Fund donors to make this effort possible. A countywide health summit was held on November 17 with more than 100 girls to kick off the initiative and below is some of the press coverage and photos of the event.
