Personalized Donor Services
The Community Foundation's experienced Donor Services team assists donors and their families who wish to focus and direct their charitable giving and make the greatest impact on the causes about which they are most passionate. Our Donor Services staff can serve as a useful resource for community knowledge and can act as a liaison for donors and nonprofit organizations. To assure donors that their gifts are having the intended impact, we offer specialized services including personalized reporting, research, and site visits to funded projects.
The Community Foundation Helps Donors:
- Explore areas of charitable interest
- Gain valuable insight via research on specific causes or issues
- Experience first hand the work of nonprofits via agency site visits
- Focus efforts by helping to create a personalized Strategic Giving Plan
- Track giving with customized reports
- Sharing our staff’s composite knowledge of community issues and needs
The Community Foundation Shares its Valuable Community Knowledge With Donors by Providing:
- Donor education events
- Ongoing evaluation of more than 100 nonprofit programs each year though our general endowment grant making program
- Working knowledge of both nonprofit and community needs
- Current, accurate data on over 500 local nonprofits
- Access to a network of 750+ community foundations across the U.S.
Strategy and Vision
To help you fulfill your philanthropic goals, the Community Foundation can:
- Serve as a trusted philanthropic advisor and thought partner
- Provide both local and national grant making support
- Help design and administer donor-funded scholarship and award programs
- Share opportunities to partner with the Community Foundation in support of exceptional proposals from nonprofits.
