Board Source offers a series of short videos describing the Ten Basic Responsibilites of Nonprofit Boards.  Access them anytime online and share them with your board.

LeaderLink is a collaboration to link Monterey County community members with nonprofit organizations to help build boards of directors. LeaderLink presently includes the Community Foundation for Monterey County, Leadership Monterey Peninsula, The Volunteer Center of United Way Monterey County, and Leadership Salinas Valley.

Board Seminars on topics of special interest to board members are offered quarterly through our MAP workshops.


Nonprofit Resource Library

Library

The Nonprofit Resource Library includes over 1000 books, workbooks, videos and other materials. Topics include board development, organizational assessment, fundraising, financial management, human resources, and many other topics. Materials do not circulate, but they are available for use on-site.
