Looking for ways to build your resilience in these fast-paced and challenging times?

Monterey TidsThis half-day retreat is designed for local nonprofit executives seeking personal and professional renewal. Participants will develop connections with fellow executives and step away from the office in a restorative setting.  Offered by the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) of the Community Foundation for Monterey County.

  • Gain new perspectives and tools to address burnout, transitions and stress.
  • Learn about and experience tools such as executive coaching, mindfulness, mutual support, and somatic approaches. Identify how you might begin applying them in your own renewal.
  • $20-60 based on your organization’s budget size (includes lunch).

Background

The 2017 CNE Nonprofit Survey showed that established nonprofit leaders’ abilities increased in most areas over the last year and named the ability to use their wisdom and skills in their organization as a strength! However, both established and emerging leaders noted a decline in their ability to balance work with other aspects of life and saw room for improvement to address the bigger challenges they face.
