You, our donors, are at the heart of the Community Foundation. While our goal is to help you achieve your philanthropic goals, our hope is that we - the staff and Board of the Community Foundation - will come to know you well and that you will come to know us.
Through us, we hope you will learn about the many needs that exist in the community we share and love. We'll show you what the Community Foundation is doing to help meet these needs, and how we, as a philanthropic community, can come together in response to changing conditions and challenges.
You'll receive our newsletters and various invitations to events that occur throughout the year so that you can meet and connect with other donors who have similar interests. We'd like to have an opportunity to meet with each of our donors individually during the year, and are always available by phone (831)375-9712.

The administrative fees assessed by the Community Foundation and the expense ratios of all our fund managers are available upon request. Investment decisions are made by an independent, volunteer committee of current and former board members with expertise in investment analysis. An independent consulting firm provides period review of investment performance.

We have many long-term relationships and close ties with non-profit organizations in Monterey County, and would be happy to put you in touch with organizations of interest to you.
